The Las Vegas Low Down
So after years of playing online casino games and slots, I finally touched down in Mc Carran Airport and hit the Strip - The Las Vegas Strip! It feels like a lifetime since I got into play online casino games and have been writing about it for years - over a decade in fact, but it has seriously taken me this long to get to Las Vegas! Insane, isn't it!
The view over the large Venetian styled pool was great. The rooms are actually the biggest in Vegas and everything was great - top service, top everything! The trip started off fun as we rented a Dodge Charger - the driving wasnt as bad as I thought, and this is coming from a brit driver. Ok, so the roads were a bit buy but we parked int he valet and got started - and of course the casinos came first.
I played some slots in Vegas that I have written about many times, such as Wheel of Fortune Slot and so many more - many of the WMS slots and IGT slots are there. I wasn't very lucky with them unfortunately - one of my mates was standing there and out a $9 bet on "he cant remember what slot machine" and cashed out 600$ - alas we tried the same strategy but lost over $100. It doesn't matter - as we all know, you lose some and you win some. Next up was some real money roulette online!
The average bet is $10 so we gained some plus on that - cashed out $150 - ad then I decided to hit the craps tables. If anyone knows me - you will know I never played this game but it looked fun and I wanted to learn. I didn't do too bad on that.
We visited the Mirage Casino too - dared not to go into the "high roller slots" area - you could see some big guns it here. Any one who has been to vegas will tell you - there' a great vibe and feeling in the casinos and I second that.
We of course visited some famous landmarks and everything but after 5 days - it was time to leave - and we hit to road through death valley and to mammoth lakes. Tomorrow it will be next stop Tahoe - some more casinos will be around. Lets see what happens then - ill update you in my next post!

Why I Love Las Vegas - First timer here!
This is why I am dedicating today's blog post to what I thought about Las Vegas and also if I can share any tips for those who are thinking of going. One thing is for sure - I will be going back! So the real reason if i'm honest that we all headed for Vegas was because there was a large group of friends going - for various reasons - an engagement, an anniversary and a few fortieth birthdays.
